30 Hudson Yards, or the North Tower, is a supertall skyscraper in Midtown Manhattan, NYC. Situated near Hell's Kitchen, Chelsea, and Penn Station, it's part of the Hudson Yards Redevelopment Project, aiming to transform the West Side Yard. As of November 2022, it ranks sixth in NYC and eighth in the U.S. in height.
The skyscraper features an iconic triangular observation deck called The Edge, extending from its 100th floor, complete with a bar and event space on the 101st floor. This stunning deck, opened in March 2020 at 1,100 feet high, ranks as the world's second-highest outdoor observation deck with transparent flooring, after Madeira's Skywalk. From here, visitors enjoy breathtaking views of southern and eastern Manhattan, the surrounding NYC boroughs, and the westward expanse encompassing the Hudson River and New Jersey. Formerly housing WarnerMedia's headquarters until their merger with Discovery, Inc. in 2022, the building now hosts Warner Bros. Discovery, with Discovery retaining tenancy at 230 Park Avenue South in the Flatiron District.
